Services
Pro Centre Finland Tampere../?id=257#598 services are aimed at people who currently work or have previously worked in the sex or erotic industry. Those hoping to move into that industry can also come for consultation.
Our services are free of charge, anonymous and open to all, regardless of gender or sexual orientation. We do not ask about your history or your motives for coming.
Drop-in
The Tampere Pro Centre drop-in is open on Thursdays from 15:30 to 19:00, except on national holidays.
The address is Aleksis Kiven katu 10 E, 3rd floor. Press the button on the intercom at ground level – you don't need to say anything – and we will open the door for you. There are a lot of different offices and services in the same stairwell.
You can visit the drop-in without an appointment. At the drop-in there is a community nurse and one or two professional social workers.
Community nurse
- You can get hepatitis A and B vaccinations and get tested for sexually transmitted infections.
- If you are coming for a vaccination or test please arrive at least half an hour before closing time.
- The nurse is only available for consultation on Thursdays.
- The Pro Centre Finland in Tampere does not have its own doctor, but the nurse can consult with the Pro Centre Helsinki doctor if necessary.
Other services
- You can always drop by the Pro Centre Finland in Tampere - we always have coffee available.
- If you need condoms or lubricant we can provide them.
Appointments

You can arrange an appointment about any topic. In accordance with our policy, consultations are confidential and the focus is on issues that you yourself consider important.
Because we are not always in the office, the office telephone is often connected to a mobile phone. If you leave a message on the answering machine and would like us to call you back, please leave your telephone number as it does not show up on our telephone.
We can also arrange free appointments with a gynaecologist. The gynaecologist's surgery is not at the Pro Centre Finland office.
Outreach work
You can also meet us in the field, when we are doing outreach work. Outreach work means we visit the areas where people in the sex and erotic industries work.
We regularly visit certain erotic restaurants and sex shops that offer private shows, with the permission of the owners or their representatives.
Through our outreach work you can make use of some of our services, arrange consultation appointments or arrange to meet us elsewhere. A fundamental aspect of our outreach work is that we do not distract or get in the way when people are working, but that we are approachable.
